We are on Flickr!!!

Big day for helping our customers to see better pictures of Northumberland. We are on Flickr.
You can see over 250 pictures here.

A lot of the 1st batch were taken on Druridge Bay with the dogs and we think that they go a little way to showing how beautiful the sands are.

Also a nod to Shelagh who showed us her new ice cream site on BT Trade Space. So we have now created our own Northumberland sub domain on BT Trade space as well. Not sure how it will fare in the short term, but longer term with BT's muscle behind it we are cautiously optimistic.

Red Squirrels in Northumberland

We were delighted to see this website list the best places to see Red Squirrels.
Initially it reminded us of these 2 baby squirrels which had fallen out of their dray, they were hand reared successfully.

Anyway....

We looked through our holiday houses and sure enough we have some near each one of these squirrel locations.

Kielder forest is reported to have over 2/3rds of all the English Red Squirrels. We have Drovers Rest and Townfoot cottage both very close by.

Rothbury and Cragside are a great area for Red Squirrels. We have many properties around this area.

The Killhope lead mining museum has a squirrel hide. Close by we have Hillside cottage.

Belsay Hall and Gardens are an idyllic spot. Why not stay at Lake cottage?

Slaley hall is a less obvious choice of Squirrels but again we have Hilltop barn within a couple of miles.

Hope that this is useful but if you need any more advice on the best places to see Squirrels in Northumberland why not give us a call?
