| How to Make A Booking Having looked through our website, selected a cottage and checked availability, please complete our online booking form. Please state on the form if you wish to bring any pets or require any additional items such as a cot, a high chair or linen/towel hire if applicable. Your booking will be logged and a member of our staff will contact you by phone during office hours to provide you with a booking reference number. At this point you can either provide us with debit or credit card details or inform us if you wish to send a cheque. A deposit of one third will be required or payment in full if within 6 weeks of the arrival date. If you prefer to make your booking by telephone you can contact our office on 016977 46777. We will be pleased to discuss your requirements and assist you wherever possible. Provisional bookings can be held up to one week. There is a non-refundable booking fee of £15 including VAT per booking. Click HERE to read our BOOKING CONDITIONS and our PRIVACY POLICY Finding Your Way To The Property All details and road directions are forwarded to you as soon as we receive the second payment, or full payment for your holiday. Arrivals And Departures Most properties are let from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated in the property details. The normal arrival time is 16.00 hours and properties should be vacated by 10.00 hours on the day of your departure. This is to allow for cleaning and preparation prior to the arrival of the next occupants. Electricity, Gas and Fuel For Open Fires Details with regard to linen are given under each listing in this site. Where it says No linen, you must bring sheets, pillowcases, towels, tea towels and table cloth. If linen hire is mentioned, the charge is £5 per person per week unless otherwise stated (payable to the owner). Please note that you must bring your own bedding and linen for cots in all cases. Pets Pets are welcome in many properties and this is shown in the individual listings. In all cases you must inform us of any pets you wish to bring. No nuisance is to be caused to neighbours and on departure there should be no evidence of the pet in either the property or the gardens. There is a charge of £15 per pet per week. Some cottages may charge more, in which case charges are shown on the individual cottage descriptions. Gradings Read about our holiday cottage gradings. Cleaning All properties are thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. Please ensure that on your departure you leave the cottage in the same condition it was found. Garden Most properties have a garden for the use of the Holidaymaker. If a garden is not mentioned in the site listing there is no garden available. Breaks Short Breaks : These are holidays of a minimum 3 night duration. Winter Breaks during the months November to March may be booked any time. Off Peak Breaks in the spring and autumn can only be booked within 3 weeks of your holiday. Premium Short Breaks on those dates marked with an asterisk on the price guide, can only be booked within one week of the holiday start date. Off Peak Reductions are from 1st November until the week before Easter, excluding Christmas and New Year. The reductions are subject to the owners agreement. Payment By Credit CardWe are able to accept payments by Visa or Mastercard but are obliged to make a handling charge of 2%. Overseas Visitor Payment Bookings made from overseas must be accompanied by a cheque drawn on a London Bank made payable in sterling, a bank transfer to our account, or a Eurocheque. Inspection and Ratings All of our cottages are carefully inspected prior to inclusion in our brochure. Many cottages carry a 'Visit Britain Quality in Tourism Quality Assurance Scheme' Rating - categorized as follows: Approved, Commended, Highly Commended or De Luxe. This reflects the quality of furnishings, fittings, decor and the level of hospitality. The range of facilities available is indicated by the scheme as the number of keys from 1 to 5. Holiday Cottage Insurance Scheme Please be aware that you are liable for the full amount of this holiday should you need to cancel. We therefore, strongly recommend that you have some form of cancellation insurance.
