Our Own Grading
Here at Northumbria Byways we take pride in the quality of the holiday cottages on our books. We make a personal inspection of every cottage and after inspection we assign it a Star Grading (1-5). You will see this displayed as "Our Own Grading". The more stars, the higher the level of quality.
Enjoy England Gradings
The enjoyEngland Quality Rose is a recognised logo of reassurance which is awarded to holiday accommodation of all types in England including self catering cottages.
If you see an enjoyEngland Quality Rose grading at the side of any of the cottages in our website, you can know that it has been inspected by Quality In Tourism assessors and deemed to meet their criteria based on the ratings guideline below ....
1 star: Simple, practical, no frills
2 star: Well presented and well run
3 star: Good level of quality and comfort
4 star: Excellent standard throughout
5 star: Exceptional with a degree of luxury
