Holiday Cottage Description

Just 3 miles from Beadnell and one of the finest stretches of coastline in England, this cottage has been expertly created from part of an old farmsteading. It takes its name from an ancient field. The interior has been designed imaginatively by the owner and decorated with great attention to detail making it an extremely comfortable idyllic getaway. Beadnell was, until the late 19th century, a busy fishing port but the decline of inshore fishing and the increase in leisure time brought about its emergence as a centre for water sports such as windsurfing, sailing and scuba diving. For the more traditional seaside pursuits of paddling and exploring rock pools the Heritage Coast is noted for clear sparkling water and miles of clean sandy beaches. The area also has several excellent golf courses within a few miles drive and the pursuits of horse riding and sea angling are also catered for locally.
