Holiday Cottage Description

Situated within easy reach of the Heritage Coast and the Northumberland National Park, Watermill Cottage has been skillfully converted from farm buildings to provide excellent quality accommodation, beautifully furnished throughout. To the south is the quaint market town of Alnwick which hosts weekly markets, special events including the Alnwick Fair, International Music Festival and offers a good range of amenities. The dramatic Castle and glorious Alnwick Garden provide visitors with a pleasurable yet educational experience. Just a 10 minute drive east is the highly acclaimed Heritage Coast. This superbly varied coastline which stretches from Berwick in the north to Amble in the south has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The huge expanses of, sometimes deserted golden beaches at Beadnell, Newton by the Sea and Embleton Bay afford the active visitor with countless splendid walks.
