Just a 3 minute stroll from Hexham town centre, The Beacons is a well appointed first floor apartment furnished and equipped to an excellent standard. Hexham is a busy yet unspoilt market town, famous for the 11th century Abbey, antique shops and race course. There are a wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, the Queens Hall Arts Centre and the Border History Museum in The Old Gaol. Standing on the banks of the River Tyne it is an excellent base for those wishing to discover Hadrian’s Wall, 8 miles. This World Heritage Site stretches 73 miles across the north of England, where some of the most spectacular scenery can be observed along the way. To the North West lies the beautiful North Tyne Valley and Kielder Water, together providing wonderful recreational facilities for many outdoor sports. Walking, fishing, cycling and excellent golf courses close by.
