Holiday Cottage Description

This most attractive cottage which stands within 100 metres of the tip of Budle Bay has been imaginatively converted from an old farm granary. Combining original features such as exposed wooden beams with furnishings and fittings of a very high quality, it provides exceptional accommodation full of rustic charm. Waren Mill lies 2 miles north of Bamburgh on the edge of Budle Bay in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and within the Lindisfarne Nature Reserve renowned for the incredible variety of birds and other wildlife found on its shores. On the southern edge of the bay and within approximately 0.5 mile is a wonderful sandy beach stretching for 4 uninterrupted miles to Seahouses. This stretch of coastline is dominated at one end by the magnificent Bamburgh Castle perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea and at the other by Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island. Excellent golf courses, horse riding, fishing, sailing and windsurfing are all available locally.
