Description

Budle Newton, part of the Bamburgh First Collection, is a stunning self catering cottage set in an idyllic rural setting within rural farmland, overlooking the beautiful Budle Bay and just over one mile from Bamburgh.

Sleeping up to 8 guests, Budle Newton has everything you could need during your stay. It offers a large open plan living area, with views of Budle Bay and out to sea, and a light and airy conservatory, perfect for watching the world go by. Guests can also relax in the private hot tub whilst enjoying the picturesque views.

Budle Bay is an important bird sanctuary, part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve, popular with birdwatchers. Depending on the tide, it is possible to walk all the way to Bamburgh Village. Bamburgh itself has a beautiful and vast sandy beach, with its magnificent castle standing tall beside it. There are also shops, pubs and cafes for food and drink during days or evenings exploring this beautiful part of Northumberland. Shop: 1.5 miles Pub: 1.5 miles.

Ground floor:

Open plan living/dining/kitchen area with comfortable seating, open fire, flat screen Smart TV with Netflix. Dining table and seating for up to 8 people.

Kitchen with oil fired AGA, electric hob, microwave, 2 fridges, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nutribullet, hand held blender.

Conservatory with driftwood table and chairs, comfortable seating, incredible views.

Games room with pool table, wall mounted flat screen TV.

Bedroom 1 with double bed and en suite with shower, WC and washbasin.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds.

Shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.

 

First floor: 

Bedroom 3 with super king bed, views of Budle Bay and out to sea.

Bedroom 4 with twin beds (ideal for children).

Bathroom with stand alone bath, shower, WC and washbasin.

 

Outside: Enclosed patio area with hot tub, barbecue and garden furniture.

Parking: Parking available outside property.

Heating: Oil central heating.

Also provided: WiFi. Bed linen and towels. Starter supply of logs. DVD player, telephone, BOSE speaker, multi device charger, range of games, books, DVDs. Travel cot and high chair available on request (please note we do not supply a mattress or linen for the cot).

Beau Monde Leisure: The owners of this property have provided all guests (up to the maximum occupancy of your cottage) with VIP membership of the Beau Monde Salon & Spa in Lucker. This membership provides you with access to the facility and discounted rates in the pool and fitness suite (charges apply). Guests are also entitled to a 5% discount on Food at The Apple Inn & Apple Core in Lucker, as well as a 5% discount on treatments at Beau Monde Salon and Spa (subject to availability).

Pets: 3 dogs are welcome @ £25 per pet per week or part thereof. Please note, pets are not allowed on the furniture or left in the property unsupervised.

The Bamburgh First collection was created by the owner, because they believed many second homes were filled with furniture and fittings owners didn’t want in their main house. The owner wanted to create accommodation as beautiful as the setting, and each house in the collection has been decorated by a professional interior designer.
