Just 6 miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle, often referred to as 'The Windsor of the North' and ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter's Hogwarts Academy!). Alnwick Garden - a spectacular contemporary interpretation of a formal garden and includes the Grand Cascade waterfall, a Poison Garden and the largest tree house in Europe! - is a popular visitor attraction, whatever the season. Beech Cottage is ideally situated for those seeking to explore the many historic delights across Northumberland coupled with easy access to one of the finest stretches of golden, sandy beaches in England. It is only 2 miles from Howick Hall Gardens and there are golf courses along the coastline.

Electricity and night storage heating. Wi-Fi.  Shaver point.  Travel cot and highchair.  Off road parking for 1 car.  Pub/TIC in Craster 0.5 mile.  Duvets with linen and towels.  1 small pet by arrangement @ £15 per week.
