Description
One of only 30 or so holiday cottages which have uninterrupted views overlooking the sea in this beautiful village of Beadnell on the North Northumberland Coast. The Haven is owned by descendants of one of the oldest families in the area and is a much loved holiday cottage. Light and airy, with neutral decor and stripped wood floors, tasteful stripped pine furniture and comfortable lounge furniture, quality beds and bed linens, the cottage offers very spacious accommodation for 4 people. We welcome families, friends holidaying together, or interest groups, though sorry the house is not equipped to meet the needs of divers. Birdwatchers, walkers, golfers and those generally interested in exploring the beautiful Northumberland Coast are well catered for here, and Beadnell is central enough to explore Northumberland's much undiscovered interior as well, being only 45 minutes from the National Park, 30 minutes from Berwick upon Tweed and 20 minutes from Alnwick. WiFi is also available.
