This excellent modern property is situated on the fringe of the lively and popular village of Seahouses only 5 minutes from an excellent sandy beach and 150 metres from a mature seaside golf course. Seahouses boasts a variety of attractions one being boat trips to the Farne Islands. The Islands are teeming with over 182 species of seabird from gulls, terns and cormorants to the strangely comical looking puffins. Drive north and time the tides right you can cross the causeway to Lindisfarne and explore this early stronghold of Christianity. This unspoilt coastline is dominated by majestic castles namely Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth all shrouded in history. Nearby is Chillingham Castle with its unique herd of wild white cattle, walled into the estate in the 12th century they are still completely pure bred and undomesticated. The many activities in the area to be enjoyed include boat trips, cycling, fishing, diving, horse riding, golf and hill walking.

A pathway from the driveway takes you to the double-glazed front door. Once inside, a cloakroom, toilet and hand basin are to your left. On the right of the hall is a dining room with double doors and an oval table and six chairs in light oak.
A corner cupboard in light oak with a table lamp is to the left. There is also a small media unit with cds behind the door.
In the corner next to the double-glazed window there is a payphone.
A pine cupboard with a table lamp on it is in the wider part of the hall containing board games. An under stairs cupboard is opposite, this contains the ironing board and a vacuum cleaner.
The lounge is to the left and the kitchen is situated to the right and the end of the hall.
The lounge contains two leather sofas for six people and one footstool. There is a cupboard with a table lamp in the corner, a standard lamp and a small cupboard with a cd player each side of the large sofa. The TV, dvd player and games consoles are adjacent to the patio doors (that have vertical blinds and curtains) which lead to the garden with a step down to a small paved area. In the centre of the room is a coffee table.
The kitchen has modern fittings and wall units with ample work surfaces. It has a built-in electric oven and electric hob. The washer dryer and dishwasher are located either side of the sink. There is a further tumble dryer in the garage. The kitchen has a free-standing fridge freezer at the end of the base units. The microwave, kettle, bread bin and toaster are on the work surface. There is a large selection of crockery and utensils in cupboards and drawers. The fire extinguisher and blanket are located on the end wall cupboard.
The other end of the kitchen is the dining area with a round pine table and four chairs. The back door leads out to the garden at the back. A path leads all the way around the back of the house to the garage and side entrance. The garden is laid with turf, has garden furniture for six and a bench for two. The oil tank is situated at the top of the garden and is fenced off. There is secure fencing all around the back garden. The wheelie bins are kept at the side of the property I the back garden. The front garden has a small lawn.
The stairs have a small turn at the bottom and at the top onto the landing leading to four bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed, two built in double wardrobes, a bedside cabinet with a lamp and a chest of draws. The window looks out onto the back garden. The master bedroom is at the back of the house and looks out onto the back garden. It has a double bed with a pine bedstead and a chest of draws either side of the bed. It also has two built in wardrobes a shelf in one corner and a stool underneath. The door in the master bedroom leads to the en-suite that has a shower cubicle, toilet and basin.
Along the hall to the front of the house are the two single bedrooms each containing a single bed with a pine bedstead, bedside cabinet with lamp and a single wardrobe.
All bedrooms have vertical blinds and curtains.
The bathroom is between the bedrooms and contains a towel rail, bathroom cabinet, toilet and an over the bath shower with a fitted screen and roller blind to the window.
The property has a double garage, with one half used for storing a BBQ and beach gear and the other is used for parking.
The property is situated on a small estate. A bus stop is situated a few yards from the property. There is a pathway to the front that takes you to the village with a 5-10 mins walk. The local village has several local amenities such as a supermarket, butchers, pharmacy, fish and chip shop, greengrocers, souvenir shop, pubs and restaurants. The golf course is a 5 min walk.
Overall, Puffins Nest is a warm and comfortable house with central heating and double glazing and carpeted throughout. The bathroom, kitchen, en-suite and cloakroom all have vinyl flooring.
