Double-fronted, end-terrace house, ideally situated in the centre of the developing fishing village of Amble. A short walk from the harbour and beaches, this is the perfect location for families or groups of friends to enjoy a seaside cottage holiday. Three bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room with a feature stained glass window. Spacious kitchen with dining area and an original stone-built feature fireplace with efficient wood-burner. The kitchen in this Amble cottage is very social, and enables you cook to remain part of the conversation whilst you all relax infront of the logburner. A second fireplace houses an electric log effect burner in the lounge, just the place to curl up on the sofa after a long day exploring.
To the rear of the property is a conservatory to take advantage of the sun, and an enclosed rear yard which doubles for a parking area in addition to being a sunny secure outside area.
The busy port of Amble is fast developing with major Euro investment to expand and extend the facilities for both locals and tourists. The harbour is a very attractive and thriving area, with pubs, retail outlets and traditional businesses alongside each other. Shops, pub and beach only 2 minutes' walk from the house.

Henderson House in Amble is in an ideal location very central with parking. The house is very well equipped the kitchen especially, there are three bedrooms two bathrooms and a downstairs loo. The sun lounge across the back of the property is light airy and very sunny, the lounge with TV and DVD player is spacious and comfortable plenty of leather seating available. A lovely clean maintained house, well decorated, warm and cosy, it was a pleasure to stay.Mr Campbell - 6th June 2021
The property was clean, tidy and well equipped, and is suitable for up to 6 people sharing, with parking at the front of the property, gated parking for a second vehicle at the rear, and additional parking on streets around the property. It is conveniently located in a residential area for access to the shops and waterfront, and as a base to explore the coastal area of outstanding natural beauty.Mr Basnett - 24th May 2021
We loved being so close to the Northumberland coast and walking on loads of beaches, seeing seals and dolphins. The cottage is convenient for shops and restaurants. The town of Amble isn't that picturesque but it's a great coastal location. Lovely to have a woodburner. - 1st November 2017
We were given a warm welcome and walk through by the owners, the house is clean and well equipped, and in a great location. - 11th August 2017
Owners very welcoming and friendly. There to meet us on arrival and went round the house explaining how everything worked. Lovely big kitchen with everything needed. Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Conservatory gave us extra space to spread out and great for the children to play in on the several wet days that we had! - 5th July 2017
We were really impressed with the attention to detail and cleanliness of Henderson House. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we were so busy we never even turned the TV on once. Amble is a really good place to explore with easy access to Northumbria. We hope to return next year. - 14th September 2016
We had an excellent stay in Henderson Street. The cottage is very spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you would need. Local Co-op and newsagent near by. Also very good food from fish and chip shop 3 minutes away and for a more upmarket meal the old boat house 5 minutes away was fabulous. Amble is well located to explore the rest of the coast. All in all a great place. Thank you. - 17th August 2016
Kitchen dining area provided excellent facility for a large family - the house is situated in Amble and provides us with accommodation for a family gathering. The conservatory and sitting room provided space for adults and children to pursue separate activities. Also good parking availability. - 11th August 2016
The house is ideally located in amble and provided a good base for anywhere on the coast and Newcastle itself. Walking distance to harbour restaurants and shops. The property has secure parking and the area is quiet. The house has two big doubles and a rein room. Good to have the en suite, main bedroom and downstairs loo. All these areas were immaculately clean with plenty storage and good quality bedding/ towels. The showere were a little temperamental at times. Downstairs kitchen diner was vast and provided space for socialising and eating. It was well equipped too. The lounge was comfortable with a TV and DVD player. The only downfall in the property was the damp around the fireplace. House was clean and nicely decorated. The conservatory was a bit wasted, a comfy chair or two would have been great. Locals were helpful and cheerful. A great place for a holiday. - 3rd August 2016
