Very favourably positioned on the edge of the much sought after village of Seahouses, Mayflower Cottage is literally only a couple of minutes walk along a sheltered path to a wonderful sandy beach stretching north with a backdrop of the magnificent castle at Bamburgh. This exquisitely furnished, spacious and newly constructed house sleeps 11 in 6 bedrooms to provide luxurious self-catering accommodation. It is the ideal choice for extended family holidays or friends wishing to take a luxury break together. Upon entering the house you will be greeted by the opulence and impressed by the attention to detail which is simply stunning throughout. All the bedrooms have been interior designed and furnished to a very high standard using top-quality furnishings, each with its own individual charm. Seahouses is a well-known coastal village offering many facilities including a variety of pubs, shops, cafes, amusements and an impressive 18 hole links golf course. The busy harbour is a hive of activity during the holiday season with boats taking visitors on trips out to the renowned Farne Islands eager to get a glimpse of the grey seals that inhabit the waters around the islands and observe the vast assortment of seabirds. Seahouses is centrally located on the magnificent Northumberland coast making it quintessentially the perfect place to visit the many sights and attractions this beautiful region has to offer. Then after a busy day of activities and exploration, you can return to Mayflower Cottage for rest and recuperation relaxing in sumptuous luxury to recharge your batteries.
Ground floor - Open plan family room and dining area leading through to a 26ft kitchen diner with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
The lounge area is tastefully decorated in soothing tones with ample seating around a cosy log burning stove, TV, DVD/CD, iPod dock and large French doors out onto a large patio area ideal for alfresco dining.

Wonderful property, very well equipped and comfortable for the 10 of us staying there. Really easy access to the beach, and a ten minute walk to the centre of seahouses. We had really good weather which helps but the house can easily accommodate lots of kids and adults at once. Would definitely recommend, it was a perfect holiday for us. We hope to return. Worth mentioning the little park just beside the house. It was close enough to give our kids freedom to play, whilst keeping an eye on them from the house. That was a real bonus we didn't expect.
Beautiful, spacious property perfectly equipped for a large family holiday. The owners have thought about pretty much everything, particularly for families with small children. The added bonus of having access to the local health club was an added bonus. A true home from home.
