Lovely cottage and a good week. Enjoyed coastal walks and a lovely sunny day for walking in hills. Thrunton Woods was an experience (we got a bit lost and met ponies who tried to eat the map!)

We came and stayed for 3 nights and will be back soon !
The village of whittlingham is a haven in the middle of the most beautiful national park - the cottage has everything to make it a home from home - the peacefulness here is unique and with the amenities of Alnwick a few miles away it's ideal to completely relax and switch off - the fast broadband , log burner and well equipped kitchen leaves one wanting to get out and about in the day and then cooking up and enjoying the cosines of the cottage in the evening -
The proximity of the coast and being in the middle of the national park makes this a rare paradise - many thanks to Mundles !

We arrived at Mundles after a long drive north and were delighted to find such a cosy, clean and comfortable cottage, in the peaceful solitude of Whittingham. We really appreciated that the fire had been laid ready for lighting, and we found the kitchen well equipped with all we needed to prepare food with ease. It felt very home from home, all furnishings tastefully chosen to create a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful secluded courtyard at the back of the cottage is a real treat for breakfast or evening supper. (We recommend oysters from Lindisfarne oyster company!) We would definitely recommend this cottage and look forward very much to returning.
