Description

Tucked away in the heart of Belford, Stable Cottage is a hidden gem recently updated to an excellent standard.  The cottage is located just off the main square in the shadow of the church clock and next to the pub, so really handy if you don’t fancy cooking an evening meal.  The beautifully appointed interior has been furnished and equipped to the highest specification with tastefully co-ordinated décor and fabrics.  Although the lounge is on the first floor, there is access to the completely enclosed garden via the conservatory.  The sheltered garden is fenced to make it safe for children and pets to play and there are comfortable sun loungers for the adults to relax on.  The picturesque town of Belford has retained its rural feel and presents an ideal centralised location for discovering this exciting region.  Most of the Northumberland coastline has been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" with many hidden coves, beaches, colourful fishing villages, amazing castles and historical houses.  To the west along quiet country roads you will find the Cheviot Hills criss-crossed with footpaths and bridle ways for walkers and hikers of all abilities.  Walking, fishing, mountain biking, golf, horse riding all available locally.

Layout

Ground floor - Large extremely well equipped kitchen/diner, range cooker with gas burners and electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. 

Hallway with door out to garden.

First floor - 2 steps down into bright and airy lounge with multi-fuel stove, leather sofa and Smart TV.  Sliding doors into conservatory with comfortable furniture and access into the garden. 

Bedroom 1 - Double bed and views of the church tower.  

Bedroom 2 - Bunk beds - suitable for children.

Bathroom with shower and WC.

Services

Electricity and gas central heating included.  Starter fuel for stove provided.  Travel cot and highchair.  Enclosed garden.  Off road parking for 2 cars.  Duvets with linen and towels.  Shops/TIC/pubs/restaurants in village.  Welcome Hamper.  2 pets welcome @ £15 per pet per week.
