Thornbrae Retreat is attached to the owners home and has been recently refurbished and finished to an extremely high standard and offers superb accommodation for families or couples looking to explore Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the Heritage coast. Large decked balcony, table chairs and its own private hot tub. Access to communal garden in the grounds with a children’s play area and Gymnasium with pool table, large screen TV, changing facilities, large decking area, table and chairs, shared hot tub to seat 7 and BBQ area.
Thornbrae Cottages offer an excellent standard of accommodation for up to 14 guests, which comprise of three cottages and one apartment. They are located a short distance from Alnwick town centre, where you will find the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and an excellent range of restaurants, cafes and shops. Guests staying at Thornbrae have access to the purpose built leisure development which includes an open plan area which is surrounded by bi-folding doors and a glazed roof, underfloor heating throughout, a gymnasium, pool table, lounge area with large TV to enjoy gaming or watching movies. Changing facilities with a shower room and WC. Outside there is a patio area with sauna, hot tub to seat 7 guests and a large dining table with barbecue. Guests also have access to shared gardens in the grounds and a children’s play area. Alnwick Train station is only a short walk for those looking for a day trip to Edinburgh or Newcastle. Bus stop outside the gates for those wishing to explore the heritage coast and magnificent castles on offer in this region.

Kitchen has a marble topped breakfast bar with 3 tall stools, electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave.
First floor - Bedroom 1 - Double bed with flat screen TV with Freeview, en-suite shower room, underfloor heating and WC.
Bedroom 2 - King-size bed which can be made into twin beds, en-suite shower room with large shower, underfloor heating and WC.
Electricity and heating included. Wi-Fi. Decked balcony with table, chairs and private hot tub. Duvets with linen and towels. Storage containers for bicycles. Off road parking for two cars. Shop/pubs/restaurants/café in town. No Pets.
Travel cot, highchair and stair gate available.
