Located on a quiet lane close to the seaside villages of Beadnell,Seahouses and Bamburgh, Woodlea is a charming semi-detached cottage, recently modernised and set in a large enclosed garden. At the bottom of the garden is a sheltered decked area overlooking the Nanny Burn, providing a private setting in which to relax and unwind after a day exploring the many castles, sandy beaches and beautiful Northumberland countryside. A cycle route passes by the cottage and with quiet back roads and few hills it is safe for family bike rides. The nearby market town of Alnwick is ideal for an outing. Here you will find a good selection of shops selling local produce, a supermarket, the magnificent castle, where scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed, and the awe-inspiring Alnwick Gardens the brain child of the Duchess of Northumberland. Seahouses is a bustling fishing village about 5 miles away, and boats regularly leave from the harbour taking tourists out to the Farne Islands to view the sea bird and grey seal colonies at close quarters. Lindisfarne is a popular place to visit, accessible across a causeway at low tide. Golf, horse riding, fishing, sailing, cycling and walking can all be enjoyed locally.

Well stocked kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.  WC.  Wooden floor throughout ground floor.

First floor - Bedroom 1 - Double bed, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite shower and WC. 

Bedroom 2 - Double bed. 

Bedroom 3 - Single bed. 

Family bathroom with bath, shower and WC.

Second floor - Bedroom 4 - Twin beds. 

Large sitting area with futon, TV and Xbox. 

WC and sink.

Services

Electricity and gas central heating included.  Starter fuel for stove provided.  Wi-Fi. Sorry no cot or highchair. Rear enclosed garden with furniture and charcoal barbecue.  Off road parking for 2 cars.  Shops/PO/pubs/TIC in Seahouses 3 miles.  Duvets with linen and towels.  No Pets.
